I’m not American so forgive me if I display some ignorance of the political parties here, but...

Women are supporting McCain because of Palin? Why the hell for? She seems to be totally anti-women from all the things I’ve read about her in the news.

Maybe not, but allow me to put it this way. If somebody described Palin’s viewpoints and affiliations without saying her name or gender, I’d immediately visualize an ageing, white male, something along the lines of George Bush or even McCain himself.

So why are women suddenly so swayed?
